Rikki is a bachelor of music student at the Griffith Conservatory of music. Rikki has travelled to Japan as part of a music exchange, mentored at music camps and been a part of various school and community bands such as Queensland Youth Orchestra and Logan Youth Music Exchange.

Patrick Stevens

One of New members joining us

for 2011. I have been playing Drums, Bass and Guitar for over eight years. I choose to play all typical rock instruments because one it’s fun, but to also have a understanding on how they all work in song writing or band situation so I can play with fellow musicians to my fullest. I’ve played in bands mainly as a bass player or drummer, playing in Pubs, Restaurants, Festivals, Private Functions and Battle of the Bands Competitions. I’m wishing to take my studies to my students by teaching them rudiments, drum theory, reading drum charts, playing different styles from different era’s such as Rock, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Reggae ect.

Ray Kostiainen has plenty of studio and live playing experience, over 15 years. He plays styles of music ranging from country, easy listening, jazz, punk, grunge, rock, metal, pop, funk, Latin, r'n'b, blues, to progressive technical styles of music.

Ray has been teaching at colleges and organizations for over 12 years, he teaches students of all ages and levels with a relaxed and fun approach.

Hannah comes from a very talented family. Currently studying

at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music,

Hannah is a violinist of 12 years. Having

performed solos from the age of 7 to

touring Europe with the Queensland

Youth Symphony Orchestra, Hannah has

experience in ensemble, solo and various

genres of playing. Current level, AMUS.

Des Le-Bherz

With over 30 years experience Des comes in as one of our more senior tutors. His music has kept him youthful at heart and that is why we welcome him back after a short break. Des has studied at the Sydney Conservatorium under leading guitarist Don Andrews. Des has been a regular artist throughout the corporate and private scene with his love for classical and flamenco ( his preferred style ) setting him apart from the rest.

Equally adept in all guitar styles, Des

brings experience and the ability to connect with all students and musicians alike and therefore is a welcomed asset to the Music Cavern
